Early Years – the organisation for young children is recruiting for an Outreach Worker (BANK) to work in South Armagh Sure Start.
The Outreach Worker (BANK) will work with parents and children to develop their skills, esteem and self-confidence and link them into a wider social and community network. The Worker will also liaise with voluntary and statutory organisations to enhance the child’s development opportunities.
The post holder will be required to assist the Sure Start team in delivering innovative initiatives in a flexible programme as identified in the project proposal.
The post holder will carry out initial introductory home visits to registered families. And carry out planned home visits to families who require support.
The post holder will support the participation of parents in training and information sessions, provided by Sure Start and within the local community in liaison with Sure Start staff, training organisations and providers and other professionals. This will include identifying appropriate courses based on identified need and ensuring systems are in place to monitor and evaluate outcomes.
