Project Co-ordinator and Administrator

A team of nine outreach staff work in eight geographical areas:-

  • Armagh/Dungannon
  • Ballymena/Magherafelt
  • Belfast
  • Coalisland
  • Derry
  • Omagh/Strabane
  • Newry/South Armagh
  • Newry

The Project Workers

  • establish a relationship with each family
  • provide toys and materials for play activities that challenge each child's ability and supports their emerging interests and skills
  • provide a positive role model for the parents
  • support parents to enrol their children in pre-school and nursery
  • support children/parents through the enrolment process
  • provide social, emotional and learning support to children in their early school life
  • build the confidence and capacity of parents to engage positively with pre-schools and support their child's education
  • provide exchange of good practice, signpost and encourage Practitioners/Teachers to avail of the Respecting Difference Training.
