Training Programme

The Rural Respecting Difference Programme includes:

  • Free staff training delivered by Early Years Specialists - two full day workshops (lunch provided)
  • Free comprehensive curriculum resource packs containing: Free comprehensive curriculum resource packs containing: six persona puppets; a DVD of the five cartoon messages; a CD of songs and rhymes, age appropriate jigsaws and games, Teachers/leaders Service Design Manual and much more
  • Ongoing on-site support from an Early Years Specialist to assist with the implementation of the programme
  • Support for your Board of Governors or Management Committee in the practical delivery of your equality opportunities and anti-bullying policies
  • Fun practical learning resulting in the skills for effective implementation in the classroom and afterschool
  • Incorporating pre-designed lesson plans to complement the existing curriculum (Northern Ireland - PDMU/Republic of Ireland - SPHE)
  • Opportunity to participate in good relations workshops and developing a tailored good relations plan for your school/afterschool

Please note that although no sub cover is eligible under this Programme, participants get free training and a resource pack.
