Early Years – the organisation for young children wish to recruit a Family Health Initiative placement student to work on the Family Health Initiative project.

The placement student will: 

  • Work with the Family Health Initiative team in the development and delivery of family obesity prevention and management programmes
  • Assist in the delivery of nutrition and physical activity sessions with children and families, including cookery sessions, supermarket tours, etc.
  • To support the monitoring and evaluation of the projects
  • Use appropriate IT packages to support work, e.g. Power point, Word, Excel.
  • Increase local awareness of programmes through updating Early Years website Family Health Initiative section and community advertising.
  • Attend relevant training with regards to health and wellbeing in Early Years.
