Early Years policy interests span a range of issues affecting the early childhood sector in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are involved in lobbying and direct representation to government as well as responding to policy issues that are of interested to our members.

Northern Ireland Audit Office Report into Pre-School

In June 2009 the NI Audit Office published a report into pre-school provision in Northern Ireland. The report highlighted areas where the community and voluntary sector is at a disadvantage compared to statutory provision. Early Years will be using this report to press for greater parity between the two sectors.
