Parent and Toddler Groups

This is a setting where young children (0-5 years) and their parents or carers meet together, usually for one morning a week. Parent and Toddler groups vary in style and philosophy, some have children as their primary focus placing an emphasis on providing play opportunities, whilst in other groups, the major focus is on providing adult activities.

Most groups aim to strike a balance between the adults and children's needs and provide a safe, friendly and supportive environment for babies, young children and their parents or carers.

Children are usually aged from birth to school age and there is usually a small fee to cover refreshments, insurance and equipment costs.
