Early Years recognised as an Investor in People

Early Years – the organisation for young children has been awarded gold accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating our commitment to high performance through good people management.

Early Years is the largest organisation in Northern Ireland working with and for young children. We are a non-profit making organisation and have been working since 1965 to promote high quality childcare for children aged 0-18 and their families. Early Years is a membership-based organisation, a registered charity, a company limited by guarantee and is governed by a Board of Directors.

We currently employ 246 staff across Northern Ireland with offices in Belfast, Newry, Cullybackey, Lurgan, Kesh, Trory and SureStart offices in Newry, Splash, Clogher Valley, South Armagh, Dungannon, Rainbow, Blossom, Star, Kilkeel and Arke.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
