Early Years - the organisation for young children have welcomed the additional £1.3 million commitment to fund pre-school places by the Minister for Education, Caitriona Ruane.
Early Years Chief Executive, Siobhan Fitzpatrick said
"We welcome the Minister's investment of an addition £1.3m to fund pre-school places. It is very important that investment in young children takes places, and that all children that require a place at pre-school have access to quality education and care."

Early Years believes that major investment in our young children is critical to ensure the educational, social, emotional and cognitive development of our future generations.
These are some of the key issues for the early years sector in Northern Ireland. Please make your local MP and MLA aware of them and encourage them to press for action.
