

Early Years is the largest organisation in Northern Ireland for young Children. We are a non-profit making organisation and have been working since 1965 to promote high quality childcare for children aged 0 - 12 and their families.

The Annual Report outlines another year of significant growth and development for Early Years. During the past year in particular we have refocused our efforts as champions of young children's rights and entitlements.

The World Forum on Early Care and Education took place in Belfast from 16th - 19th June 2009.

Early Years, Barnardos and Autism NI came together to pilot a programme which aims to make early detection, and improved treatment a reality for autistic children.
The three agencies responsible for developing the Keyhole Autism Training celebrated the findings of the project with a special event in Stormont’s Long Gallery on Wednesday 11th March 2009. more....
